warning critic ahead ;)

I was going to post about my dream this morning, but I decided it was too dark and too odd and not meaningful enough – (I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad, the dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had – Tears for Fears..)

So anyway, here’s some new tracks: (these are small enough that even you dialup people could manage if you tried)

Lyrics by Esen & Sheer, music by Sheer

and some covers:

And with my friend – never mind the fact we’ve never met

————————————————————–

That latest version of Love/Hate was goth, for sure, without a doubt. Despite the electronica-style intro.

I’m really starting to get into this recording stuff. Some of my latest tracks have been sooo coool… well, I think so anyway.

    Sound of Silence:
The voice / music seems to follow a pattern of “blah blah blah” -bong- -bong- -bong- it’s not smooth…

in the mike version… the guitar sound upstages the voices alot… could use some sort of filter when it’s not doing it’s realy nice solo

you guys sound good together btw -perhaps try accapella?

    Puff Magic Dragon:
    Good mix… both versions…

If you get me the lyrics for love/hate I’ll review them for you.. buahahaha

I just noticed that it’s difficult to critique things that you think come off good.. I mean what do you say? it’s good.. erms…

yea.. anyways.. keep up the good work guys..

have you thought about doing some of disalusion or gean-carlo covers?

Thought some of your latest recordings sounded great too. Now about this strange, dark, meaningless dream, brought on by leftovers, was it?
*grins* Be interesting to hear about it. Hope you don’t mind, shared the latest with all my loves, near and far. Thought it’d be nice for my friends and family to give them a listen.

    from esen:
Where can I find music by Disalusion or Gean-Carlo (?) May I have a few links please, jcurious? 🙂 Danka.

Secondly, which version of Love/hate works better? the accoustic or Goth/Other? What do you think, Sheer?

    1) Geincarlo was a friend of mine, we wrote a couple of tunes togeather. I might even remember them.

    2) Disillusion was the band me and Nicka/omcn were in togeather. I’d be astonished if you were able to find much by them although some of our songs were rerecorded by a later band with the same guitarist.
